You need to listen to the new Massive Attack song

Who? Massive Attack

What’s the story? No one does achingly beautiful and mournful quite like Massive Attack. And this new track which quietly slipped onto Spotify this morning, The Spoils, is another incredible addition to their canon. Returning on vocals is Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star, who last sang with the band on Paradise Circus - the Luther-featuring highlight of their last full album, 2010's Heligoland, and once again she's a perfect fit for the slow, minimal beats and lush orchestration on the track. Whisper it quietly, but this could well be their best song since Teardrop.

Another track, Come Near Me, has also been released, featuring Ghostpoet, which is a darker, more electronic track - put these two tracks together with the four released on the Ritual Spirit EP earlier this year and you've got a pretty incredible mini-album. They're clearly in a rich vein of form: keep it coming, guys.

For fans of: The XX, Burial

In three words: Stunning and lush

Listen to all of them as they become available, on this Spotify Playlist

These are the best bars and restaurants offering Pokémon Go deals

If you're anything like us, you'll have already lost 20 stone walking around aimlessly trying to find Gyarados whilst playing Pokémon Go.

Which is why we thought we'd help you out by showcasing places you can grab a cheap bite to eat and drink without having to pause your quest. These are the best bars and restaurants around the UK offering exclusive discounts and deals for Pokémon trainers. Oh, and a zoo too. Of course.

1. M Victoria Street, London

Every Friday in August this bar and grill is offering a free cocktail if you show the bar staff your starter Pokémon. If you chose Charmander, expect the flaming concoction pictured above.

As if that wasn't enough, anyone who manages to catch a Pokémon in or outside the M Wine Store will receive a £25 voucher for the M Restaurant. Brb.

Find out more here

2. Treacle Bar and Kitchen, Edinburgh

Every Tuesday and Thursday until the 16th August, the Scottish bar and restaurant are dropping two straight hours of lure modules from 3pm to 5pm.

If that doesn't determine where you go for dinner, we don't know what will.

Check out the event here

3. The Blackbird, Brunstfield

Treacle's sister bar is also getting in on the act, with the same promotion taking place there until the 16th August.

Find out more here

4. The Grand, Clapham

The UK's first ever Pokémon Go club night is here, whether you want it to be or not.

The Grand in Clapham are hosting the event on 30th July from 10pm to 3am.The £5 tickets get you a free Pikachu, Pidgey, or Jigglypuff mask, plus a free drink. There will be a treasure hunt, Pokémon confetti, a secret Pokémon screening room, and erm... "Pokémon podium dancers". Nice.

What's more, there'll be constant lures and free WiFi throughout the night.

Find out more here

5. Base + Barley, Cardiff

Okay, so there are no freebies at this Welsh sourdough pizza joint, but there is a limited-edition Pokéball shaped Pizza. Yes, a Pokéball shaped pizza. Thank you, world.

Find out more here

6. The Oxford, Manchester

The sign says it all...

Find out more here

7. Illegal Jacks, Edinburgh

Although the Tex Mex Grill doesn't currently have any Pokémon promotions, they are one of the few venues in Edinburgh that is actually a Pokémon Gym.

If you're sick of losing your gym every time you pop off for a bite to eat, this is the one for you.

Never leave.

Find out more here

8. Sapporo Teppanyaki, Liverpool

This Japanese sushi restaurant is both a Pokéstop and a place that serves rice shaped like Pikachu. Just look at those tomato Pokéballs. Death can claim us now. We will go in peace.

Find out more here.

9. Bristol Zoo, Bristol

This late night event includes free entry to the zoo, free WiFi,
12 Pokéstops with free lures, AND an on-site gym.

The event will take place on Wednesday 3 August, 6pm - 8pm, and the zoo are asking for a donation of £3.

Find out more here

10. The Electric Theatre, Guildford

Pokémon Go players get 10% drinks at The Electric Theatre's cafe bar all day every day. All you have to do is show your app at the bar. And go to Guildford, we guess.

Find out more here

11. Cosmo, Nottingham

So this promotion relies on you finding a Pokémon in the restaurant and snapping a quick selfie, but a bottomless drink is definitely a worthy reward.

Find out more here

12. Gossip, Stoke-on-Trent

This Friday sees the first of many Pokémon Go themed parties at the club, where lure modules will be active all night.

The venue is offering a free drink for every Pokémon caught with a CP of 200+, and they're raising money for Action for Children, a local children's charity, at the same time. You just can't argue with that.

13. Charleville Lodge Hotel, Dublin

Nuff said.

Police mistake Krispy Kreme icing for crystal meth

Absolutely none of us have been there. Can't relate. Not happened to even a single one of you.

Police in (guess! go on! guess!) America, mistook icing from a Krispy Kreme donut for Crystal Meth.

Let's backtrack, shall we?

Daniel Rushing, a 64-year-old from Orlando, was arrested on drug charges after police officers noticed four tiny flakes of glaze on his car floor after pulling him over.

They thought - and yes, you know what they thought - they were pieces of crystal methamphetamine.

“I recognized through my eleven years of training and experience as a law enforcement officer the substance to be some sort of narcotic,” Cpl. Shelby Riggs-Hopkins later wrote in the arrest report.

To make matters worse, two roadside drug tests tested positive for the illegal substance, which yay, police funding. Yay, reliable equipment.

Rushing was arrested on the spot but a crime laboratory test cleared him a few weeks later.

“It was incredible,” he said. “It feels scary when you haven’t done anything wrong and get arrested... It’s just a terrible feeling.”

“I kept telling them, ‘That’s ... glaze from a doughnut'."

A lesson here for us all. EVERY LAST ONE OF US.

The top 10 greatest t-shirts from movies

With the release of the new Supercut Youtube video showcasing loads of amazing t-shirts from the big screen, we've managed to narrow it down to the top 10. Because it's 2016 and we know you don't have the patience to sit through 4 minutes.

1. The Goonies

Was anyone else terrified of Sloth as a child/still is now? The honorary Goonie manages to pull off the Comic-Con staple without looking geeky. Although he did live in his mother's basement, which is the ultimate in geek.

2. Clerks II

Clerks II is a bit of a cult movie, but most people have seen this weird homage to Silence of the Lambs in some dark corner of the internet, where Jay tweaks his nipples and adopts a mangina in his newfound Christian attire.

3. Fight Club

In another life maybe Edward Norton's character could've had a career in fashion design, because he thought up some incredible styles for the (*spoiler*) imaginary Tyler Durden, played by Brad Pitt.

4. Grease

If kids had cool t-shirts like Danny Zuko in school P.E class and not stinking oversized kits from the lost and found bin, maybe they wouldn't be so overweight. That and adding Pokemon Go to the curriculum would definitely work. Vote ShortList for Education Secretary.

5. Toy Story

Everyone hated this kid, but loved his top reminiscent of the Zero skating logo. The Toy Story villain might have been an absolute sociopath, but he had an impeccable taste for t-shirts.

6. Napoleon Dynamite

Although it's not really about anything, Napoleon Dynamite has some of the most quotable lines in move history. Its Eighties thrift store style is also on point, and this Vote For Pedro ringer tee is now practically iconic.

7. Every t-shirt from Step Brothers

There's almost too many tees to choose from in this movie - like Brendan's Leo Sayer and Dale's Yoda tops - but the Converse and Mountain Dew combination in this shot is pure magic.

8. The Hangover

Some people wear suits in Vegas, some people wear confusingly artistic t-shirts. If you wear the latter you'll definitely get more phone numbers to store in your sweet man satchel.

9. This Is Spinal Tap

The t-shirt game gets turned all the way up to 11 here with this glow-in-the-dark skeleton top in the best mockumentary of all time. Although if Kanye West's career is revealed to be one big joke, the title might switch hands.

10. Wayne's World 2

Before the downward spiral and disgusting memes of Shrek, Mike Myers made classics like these. But it's actually Garth's style that steals the show here in his plaid shirt and Waynestock tee.

The 10 most stylish moments of Netflix's Stranger Things

Sure we all know that Stranger Things was beautifully shot, but it was also beautifully styled as well.

The eighties gets a lot of bad press for its fashion thanks to legwarmers and popped collars, but there's a lot of saving graces, as Netflix's best show yet amply proves.

So without further ado, here's the most stylish shots that'll have you running to your nearest vintage shop...

1. The quilted gilet

It's no secret that the show has borrowed elements from Twin Peaks, E.T., Stand By Me and more, but it looks like Will's styling here is a homage to Marty's 'life preserver' in Back To The Future.

2. The baseball cap

We don't know if it's because we're playing Pokemon Go for 14 hours everyday or that Dustin's hat actually looks a lot like Ash Ketchum's. Either way it's pretty slick.

3. The fur lined denim jacket

Jonathan Byers, possibly the only hero in a show to also be a borderline creepy stalker. Here he is not taking pictures of people without their consent in a fur lined denim jacket with a contrast cord collar.

4. The ringer t-shirt

Striped ringer t-shirts are an eighties staple, just like synths, shoulder pads and colours so bright they'll give you a migraine. Here's will showing off why it shouldn't only be left to the decade that brought you legends like Rick Astley and Flock Of Seagulls.

5. The cardigan and double breasted pea coat

Not that it's all informal wear, as Dustin and Lucas prove here. If only they knew how many Likes they could get for that ensemble on Facebook in 2016 they'd be furious. And rightly so.

6. The orange cord jacket and camo bandanna

It was actually Caleb McLaughlin who suggested his character should wear a camo bandanna around his head in this scene. Not even a teenager and he's already setting trends, while you have a panic attack every morning about which socks match your shoes.

7. The baseball jacket and retro Nikes

How much did you hate this trio? But for all their doucheness, Tommy owns that baseball jacket, and Steve's Nikes are still on trend today. Truly timeless.

8. The charcoal suit

Papa? You mean daddy. How suave is this guy? Sure he's a monster who tortured a child, but a suit this sharp surely means he's forgiven. Right?!

9. The polo top

These are a dime a dozen in vintage shops, so make sure you stock up on them before Urban Outfitters buys them all and hikes up the price by 250 per cent.

10. The turquoise hoodie

Not many people can pull off a turquoise hoodie with an eighties cartoon design, but then most people don't have the sass that Dustin has. Watch this become Kanye's main piece for his next Yeezy collection. He'll put a few rips in it and sell it for $1,250.

Dunkers is your favourite new game app

Never understood the appeal of Pokémon GO? Then Dunkermight be more up your street.

An infuriating, hilarious, addictive experience, Dunkers is sort of a basketball game (in the same way that table football is sort of a football game - it is, but it isn't).

You control a character (after a fashion, it's more luck than control) with two moves: "dunk", which moves you forward and "defend", which moves you backwards. Thing is, your arms spin continuously, without your input. You've just got to steal the ball and dunk it into your opponent's hoop. Watch the video above for an idea of how impossible that is.

With a high-score hunting arcade mode, career mode and two player mode that sees you gather around a single screen, Dunkers is going to be the newest drain on your battery power.

Get it here: iOS, Android

The best Christmas gift ideas between £5 and £25

From life-changing books to that DVD you should really have watched, here are some stocking-filling and budget ideas to make Christmas that little bit jollier.

All items between £1 - £20

Check out the best luxury presents £200 and over

Check out the best gifts between £25 and £200

1. Victoria Eggs Baking Delight Oven Mitt

Yes, she's called Victoria Eggs. Yes, we imagine her formative years were plagued with cruel "chicken and egg" jokes. Still, she makes a mean mitt.

"Meh, all boxer shorts are the same."

You've clearly never tried a pair with 42 per cent Modal fabric, like these Jockey trunks. Boxer brilliance.

3. Sea Kelp Gift Set from RNLI

Yep. Sea kelp. Scottish sea kelp. It does wonders for your (or your mum's) skin.

This set includes body wash (75ml), body butter (75ml), hand and nail cream (75ml) and soap (40g). Bargain.

4. King Cobra

"There's a snake in your stocking!"

Oh how he'll laugh on Christmas morn when he realises you just meant this, a vast 750ml of Cobra's best.

5. PAISLEY SOCK by Happy Socks

Socks are obligatory at Christmas, but that doesn't mean they have to be grey and itchy.

6. Sipsmith Gin

When it opened in 2009, Sipsmith was the first copper-based distillery to start up in London. Six years later and the super trendy spirits brand is still going strong, making some of the best gin around. They sustain their extraordinary quality by producing just a few hundred bottles each time. But much more important: it's what the cool people drink.

£16.25 for 35cl bottle

7. Mous iPhone 6 Case

Never be struck by tangled headphone fever again. An essential item for any music lover in your life.

8. Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari

The US comedian looks at how technology has changed the modern dating experience, from assessing real people's flirty test conversations, to examining the rise of Tinder. A hilarious, and scientific, way to help you get a date.

9. Santa Sleigh Christmas card by Cardology

Do you still have older relatives that send "letters" via the "postal service"? Then they might enjoy a "Christmas card" - a festive tradition we vaguely remember from the late nineties.

Seriously though, the Cardology cards are insanely pretty.

10. Better Call Saul

Slower than Breaking Bad, and all the better for it.

11. London Sock Co Simply Individual

A pop of colour is perfect all year round.

12. Boot socks - Urban Outfitters

If you're going to go down the cliched old road of sock buying for presents, at least make sure they're something with a decent pop of colour and has foot-warming as these efforts from Urban Outfitters.

13. Super Shark Encyclopedia

The best Android phone money can buy. Really, it's awesome. And it's a lot cheaper than an iPhone.

5. Sony 3D Projector

Ah, you mean the VPL-VW520ES projector? Yes that is a bit of a mouthful - and not as clear as calling it a 3D projector. We could also call it "The best way to watch films in your house, provided you've got a big wall with no pictures on it", but 3D projector was easier.

Dyson knows a fair whack about sucking air, so it stands to reason they know about blowing it out too.

10. Harvey Nichols Posh Party hamper

Sod Christmas. Sod the dinner. Sod any kind of preparation altogether and just spend a lump to let Harvey Nichols do it for you. They'll do a much better job than you anyway. Read the list of full, luxurious contents here.

No faff, just quite simply the most sought after chef’s knife in the land. 18. Sony High-Res Audio Walkman

The death of the Walkman has been greatly exaggerated.

The snappily named NWZ-ZX1 pumps out the highest resolution audio you've ever plugged into your ears, allowing you to discover new sounds you didn't even realise were hidden away in that favourite album you've been listening to since 1998. This is for the serious audio fans.
